Parola del giorno

Today’s Parola del giorno is the verb scoppiare, which means to burst, to pop, to blow up, or to explode.

My favorite use of this verb is right after a big meal when you can’t eat another bite. Several of my friends in Italy yesterday were telling that they were about to pop!
