Yesterday, I posted about Wordle and Paritle, the English game recently acquired by the New York Times and the Italian version of the same developed by this data scientist.
Did you know that there is also a game called Worldle — note the spelling!
Worldle is about geography — you can play it here!
The premise is the same:
You’re show the geographic boundaries of a country. Make an initial guess based on the shape of the country.
Once you guess, the program tells you if you got the answer right. The more green boxes you get, the closer your guess is to the country. For example, Nepal was the answer a few days ago. If you had type in Pakistan, you’d probably have gotten a fair number of green boxes. The program also tells you how close you are geographically and what direction you need to move across the map to get closer to your country.
It’s not exactly a word game, but since many of us who followed Parola del Giorno love to travel, I thought it was a fun game to share!
