In Italian (and in English), there are five types of comparison or gradi:

  • grado positivo

  • grado comparativo di maggioranza

  • grado comparativo di uguaglianza

  • grado comparativo di minoranza

  • grado superlativo

Next week, I’ll go through each of these, explain them in a bit of detail, and show some useful grammar tips for comparing and describing things using adjectives (gli aggettivi)!
