A short pause
Good morning,
My father passed away this morning from Parkinson’s disease. I’m going to take a break over the next week to reflect and process the loss. I’ll return on August 10th. Thanks for your patience and understanding. I’ll respond to comments and messages when I am back online.
Thank you for taking the time to share with us in the midst of what must be crippling grief. The fact that you care enough about us to share this heartfelt message is a testament to who you are as a human. Please take care of yourself and know that your community is here for you. We care. And we are grateful. Now is the time to take care of you and your loved ones. May your father rest in peace, knowing the love his family. 💜
My condolences. I recall losing my father who mercifully went quickly. Seeing your father deteriorate slowly would have added another level of pain to you. May he now finally rest in peace. If I may quote and old Greek proverb to you at this time. "What is happiness if there were no sadness". Enjoy your life and those around you.
